So this took a commercial that was brilliant in no small part because of its gender-reversal of the usual commercial technique, and ... gender-reversed it.
*sigh* No, I'm not missing the point. I'm simply not viewing it through that lens.
I've seen a LOT of parodies of the Old Spice commercial. I've *written* one. And this one does a great job of lampooning it, the sexual politics of it aside.
It made me laugh on a night I didn't have much of a sense of humour. I shared it with others, in the hopes it might make them laugh too. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it.
*grin* No worries. And on that note, I agree with you, though I'm not entirely certain the utter upside-downness of it doesn't just make it funnier. :)
